Term 2 Week 15

 Hello Pre-K! 

Please have your child send in some art for our New Years context if they want.

On Monday, we continued our airplane contest. This was a good lesson in trial and error and not giving up. Most of the children were able to throw their planes much further on Monday than on Friday.

We made a city in the playroom using buildings we made from boxes. We "visited" different parts of the city and took turns "working" in the toy store, clothing store, restaurant, ice cream shop, and on the shinkansen.

The weather has been really nice, so we've been able to play outside everyday. We went to the Fuji park again in addition to our normal park, and had a picnic lunch when it wasn't too cold to sit outside.

Thank you to everyone for sending in boxes! The students started working on their neighborhood dioramas. We will keep working on them next week, and you will get to take them home at Student Led Conference in February.

Please remember to send caps back on Monday. If your child does not have a shoe bag, please send that next week as well. A cloth bag is best. As always, please make sure everything is named.
